Will Reusable Pads Leak?

Last post have compared different kinds of feminine hygiene products and talked about the similarity in the design and usage between disposable and reusable menstrual pads. Both of them have wings and being fixed on the panty to absorb menses, as shown below:

Does cloth have enough absorbency capacity?

Depends on brands and designs, most of the reusable pads contain more than 1 layer for absorbency. Lovely Cotton reusable menstrual pads have different numbers of GOTS organic cotton absorbent layers for various sizes, together with leakproof layer (made of TPU, not plastic). Even though you may feel losing so much blood every month, total amount of menses would not over 80cc in a cycle. Lovely Cotton reusable heavy day pads (28 cm) and night pads (36cm) can 30cc and 50cc respectively, and hence would have sufficient absorption power. Some of you may have excessive menses occasionally and an absorbent layer can be added to the Lovely Cotton night pad to further absorb 30cc, which would be more than enough. However, if excessive menses occur frequently, you may wish to visit a gynecologist for further check-up.

Wear Lovely Cotton Reusable Pads Back to Front

Without adhesive tape on the back like disposable pads, can snap fasteners tightly hold the pads together with the panties? Snap buttons themselves would hold securely until a certain amount of force is applied. Relative to plastic which tends to stay in its own shape, cotton fabric of the reusable pads can lay softly on your body. As long as you wear just-fit cotton panty (not thong style), the pads would stick to your body all the time.
